Wilson Blade 98 India (18x20)

The Wilson Blade 98 India 18x20 updates the very popular BLX Blade with Amplifeel technology and a sleek black cosmetic. Like the previous generations, Wilson Blade 98 India  feels solid at impact. The dense pattern is ideal for players who require maximum control over the ball's direction and depth. By adding Amplifeel technology, Wilson enhances the feel of the Wilson Blade 98 India, while the Basalt fibers keep harsh vibrations to a minimum. Our playtesters were impressed by how well they could drive the ball on groundstrokes, noting a high degree of plow-through and mass based power using the Wilson Blade 98 India.

From the net, the Blade 98 feels comfortable and precise, with minimal twisting on impact. Serves are all about control, making this one ideal for players who favor placement and consistency above all else. Our testers noted that the exceptional precision gave them confidence on faster swings, allowing them to hit penetrating slices and work different areas of the box. 4.0+ players looking for a great control racquet that performs well from all areas of the court should take this one out for spin.

All of our playtesters flourished from the baseline with the 18x20. The team had positive feedback about the plow through and feel, who had high expectations going into this play test.  With the Amplifeel in the handle the response is cleaner and provides greater feedback.

One of our play testers had this to say about the Wilson Blade 98 India (18x20) "I enjoyed the dense string pattern on returns, as it helped me find lots of control when returning a fast serve, I was able to drive the ball pretty flat and still find all the control I needed. I was finding lots of bite from the stringbed when going for spin. I was especially happy with my backhand slice return, and felt in complete control with that shot."

The guys at iTennis are very professional. They assisted me in providing info that other online shops had no clue about. If you have not finalized a racquet, the best thing you could do is to have a chat with them and you will end up with the perfect one for you. Shipping was quick and secure too. Overall impression: Can't wait to shop again here.
